Selected these lovely green succulents in concrete pots for a recent VIP Lounge installation. Nothing like nature to add some colour on a grey day. More images of them styled by Reverie in the Lounge to come!

Had the pleasure of attending the District 28 Open House in Leslieville on January 18. District 28 is a an Event Venue located in Toronto’s Studio District. With two unique Studios to choose from, as well as an in-house Screening room, Bistro and Reception area, District 28 has a number of spaces to choose from. It was a lovely opportunity to meet up with some familiar faces and some new ones as well!
These vintage, glitter, department store signs circa the 1930s had us feeling merry! We picked them up to install as decor for holiday parties and then had to take the opportunity to style them outside as soon as the snow fell; the timing was too good to pass up. Not going to lie – they are so great that it is tempting to keep them up all year ’round!
‘Bring the outside in..an elegant dinner in the forest..’ This VIP Reception & Dinner was an absolute dream to plan, design, & style, from concept to installation. Here’s to a wonderful client for letting me create a dinner ‘in a forest’ & for sharing my enthusiasm for the details, from all of the lovingly selected, gorgeous wood tableware, right down to the sprigs of Rosemary in the napkin folds, & my stash of vintage, farmhouse cutting boards & cozy throws. The Royal Conservatory, with its floor to ceiling windows was our first choice for bringing this concept to life and the team at RCM was fantastic. It was a dream to work with 10tation as always, to create an exquisite menu which featured beautiful, locally sourced Canadian fare and wine. Thank you to @carbonandcraft for capturing our installation..This event was a labour of love for me for sure..
Ahhh..this lovely wine tasting and networking reception was at the end of a full conference day in Niagara @Trius Winery. The guests enjoyed a tour of the winery, wine tasting, and a lovely 3-course dinner in the wine cellar. It was a very cold night but the atmosphere was warm indeed!
The Fermenting Cellar in the Historic Distillery District is one of my favourite venues in Toronto to design an event. This large, open space is a wonderful venue for those who enjoy a rustic setting. We collaborated with spinradius inc., to plan and design an event for a corporate client, in keeping with the era of the venue. Reclaimed furniture, burlap throw pillows reminiscent of distillery grain sacks, and varied, vintage oil lanterns added a warm, whimsical touch to the Reception area.
This event celebrated sustainability in real estate development and management, in collaboration with HOOPP and TRIA. The building was still under construction during our first site visit, so it was wonderful to watch the evolution. The Reception and Awards for the event were held in the sun-filled lobby of the ONE YORK building which was at the time, completely free of furniture and decor. This gave us an opportunity to create a design that fit the sustainability mandate and showcase the gorgeous design of the lobby itself. These gorgeous, heavy, reclaimed grazing tables were a beautiful fit for our decor design, accented by the vintage, chrome, bar carts for a residential touch, all from our friends @divinefurniturerental. The building has a bike to work program, so it was fitting to include these lovely vintage bicycles from @newsons.ca complete with rustic flower bunches, within the decor design.
