Raw space launch..

Designing décor and customizing raw space is so inspiring and is definitely a passion. Such a wonderful opportunity to do this, as well as managing logistics, AV, and catering (featuring the Tenants onsite) for the 2015 LEAP Awards & Conference. The Awards were held at Spectrum Square. This journey began back in December 2015, when I first toured the construction site with the team (Personal Touch Management, HOOPP, Quinn & Partners Inc.) in a hard hat and steel-toed boots, It was a thrill to see this building transform over a 6-month time period into the venue that it is now – a gorgeous, innovative, sustainable office building. Here are some images from the event-day setup.

Tradeshow days..

Spent April 26 – 28 in the South Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, for Discovery 2015 – managing the speakers & panel discussions. Discovery is a conference and trade show focused on innovation; 6 stages, 100 + speakers, and more than 3000 guests.

Eclectic inspiration..

Love Art After Dark is a late night art party which is held at Heritage Court, Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place. An eclectic display of collections from artists and galleries around the world. Art, music, & sponsored by Steam Whistle and Woodford Reserve. Such a lovely evening!

Décor sourcing..

This is what happens when you have a passion for sourcing décor..you end up bringing things home for yourself as well! I was sourcing accent pieces for a client and couldn’t resist this lovely rug. Fortunately we managed to fit it all in the truck!Vintage rug

Vintage treasures..

There are many great shows to attend in Toronto, but one that I always love to take in is the Toronto Vintage Clothing Show. This year it was combined with the Toronto Antique and Vintage Market, all under the same roof at The Queen Elizabeth Building, Exhibition Place! One of the treasures I was fortunate to find was this lovely mid-century chip & dip caddy, complete with the original  gold metal bracket.
