CEO Dinner

What a thrill it was to be a part of the planning again for the P3 CEO Dinner this year. They are a pleasure to collaborate with. This event was hosted at beautiful Jump restaurant in Toronto by CCPPP on November 2nd and was sponsored again this year by Morrison Hershfield. I love being a part of this event and was thrilled to design the event decor. The decor included custom napkin bands featuring a message welcoming the guests, and branding elements inspired by the sponsorship logo which included: custom 3D Centrepieces for the tables, skinned windows & uplighting of the wine – bottle wall in navy and pale green.

TFW 2014

It’s been a whirlwind lately! (Who doesn’t love a whirlwind?) Been onsite for  the installation of the decor for the opening party for World MasterCard Fashion Week (Toronto Fashion Week.) The event was held on October 20th at David Pecault Square to kick off the Spring 2015 Collections.

TIFF times..

Pouring rain and high winds definitely didn’t dampen the spirits of TIFF-goers this year. For this screening of Black and White with Kevin Costner held on Saturday September 6th, the ticket holders were camped out for 2 hours prior to the show on Simcoe Street and many had nourishment in-hand, supplied by the food trucks parked on King Street.

Opera dans la chapelle..

Just back from a conference in beautiful Québec City. It was several days of managing plenary sessions, breakout meetings and various activities. One of the highlights was definitely this VIP dinner at La Chapelle which is part of Musée de L’Amérique Francophone. It was a lovely dinner followed by entertainment which included live opera. Spectacular in this setting!

Art, design, vintage..

Gallery & Vintage

Took in a number of art galleries and vintage shops yesterday. This brochure is from the gallery at Confederation Centre of the Arts; I really like the image of the bison and dripping paint. Found this lovely 1970s vintage, white metal-mesh link bag as well.

Great space..

Had the opportunity to visit the PEI Brewing Company while here in Charlottetown. It’s always inspiring when you come across a great event venue you haven’t seen before. This one is a great combination of raw space and eclectic décor. Love the combination of the reclaimed wood and these gorgeous chandeliers.
